Ok, it is already more than a week ago, but let me still show you some finds of 24th July, that I made at the so called "Rose-festival" on Castle "Blumenthal" (=Flower Valley). Even though at that time the weather was not the best and I thought it would rain pretty much all the time - it was beautiful weather when I arrived there: sunny and just fitting for a Rose-festival on a cute little castle. The atmosphere was so charming - it was my first time there and I instantly fell in love with this special place. There were loads of stalls of different artists (jewelery, paintings, interiour, decoration, gardening, ...). And believe it or not, I found some Chidori items there!!! For those who don't know yet - I love those little japanese birds called Chidori. I was so surprised & happy to find products (cups and kitchentowels) with chidori print on. :) Also I was lucky to find a vintage glass parfume bottle - which is fitting my other glass ware in the bathroom and I was searching for long time! :) So, all in all a very lucky and relaxing day.
Gut, es ist schon über eine Woche her, aber lasst mich euch trotzdem meine Fundstücke vom 24 Juli vorstellen, die ich auf dem Rosenfest auf Schloss Blumenthal ergattert habe. Obwohl das Wetter zu der Zeit nicht besonders war und ich dachte es würde die ganze Zeit regnen, lichtete sich der Himmel als ich dort ankam und es war wunderbarstes Wetter. Genau passend für einen so wunderschönen Ort. Die Atmosphäre auf Schloss Blumenthal ist einfach zauberhaft - ich war zum ersten Mal dort und habe mich sofort verliebt! Es gab viele Stände von Künstlern, Deko-, Gartenbedarf, Goldschmiede, ,... Und glaubt es oder nicht, ich habe dort tatsächlich Chidori (auf Tassen und Geschirrtüchern) gefunden! Für die, die es noch nicht wissen, ich liebe diese kleinen pummeligen japanischen Vögel die man Chidori nennt. :) Außerdem hatte ich noch das Glück endlich einen alten Glasflakon mit Zerstäuber zu finden, der zu den restlichen Glassachen in meinem Bad passt. :) Es war also ein wunderschöner und entspannter Tag!
